AGS Awarded New Boston Security Service Contract

January 14, 2015 – Herndon, VA

AGS has been awarded a contract to provide security services at New Boston Air Force Station (NBAFS), New Hampshire, by the Air Force Space Command, 50th Space Wing, 50th Network Operations Group, 23rd Space Operations Squadron.

AGS will provide fully certified, trained and qualified armed security guards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and management and supervisory personnel. Additional responsibilities include safeguarding disaster or crime scenes, protecting restricted and controlled areas, protecting Protection Level (PL) resources and protecting the facilities, materials, personnel, protecting weapons, ammunition, and classified information from injury or damage.

New Boston Air Force Station (NBAFS) is located in Hillsborough County in south central New Hampshire, approximately 12 miles northwest of Manchester. NBAFS falls within the boundaries of three towns – Amherst, Mont Vernon and New Boston – and is comprised of approximately 2,826 acres of federally owned land. Currently, NBAFS serves as one of eight worldwide Air Force Satellite Control Network Tracking Stations, providing critical satellite command and control capability to Department of Defense (DOD) and civilian satellites. NBAFS also supports National Aeronautics and Space Administration Space Shuttle missions as well as National Atlantic Treaty Organization and other allied nations satellite operations.
